Interior Design Program Banner Winners
For the first group project, we designed 2 vertical banners to promote the Interior Design program. Our banner won the design competition and was displayed outside of the new Interior Design lab!
The coastal interior design style displays various light to medium wood tones and blue hues; it inspired me to use different tints and shades of blue-green, blue, and blue-violet to achieve the analogous color scheme. I chose a light birch hardwood for the flooring. The sun hat, sunglasses, sandals, and basket-weave textured bag allude to a summer beach setting.

To achieve the monochromatic color scheme, I used different tints and shades of sage green. I also chose a mix of light to medium-range hardwood planks for the flooring. The plants and accessories allude to a warm and cozy setting.
For both rooms, I created the look of dimension with shadows, highlights, and sunlight. I also used a luminance brush tool to create lightbulbs under the lampshades. I poché’d the walls black and the windows a light gray to represent the glazing.

Based on a change theory case study, I modeled a half traditional, half at home office to show the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the workplace.

This side of the model showcases a home office space.

Drink Storage
I designed drink storage underneath the stairs on Sketchup for a contractor's client.
Graduation Cap
For my high school graduation, I decorated my grad cap with gems, flowers, and a Bible verse to show the high school I graduated from (on the underside) and the college I go to now (on the top).

Scale & Proportion
Using colored pencils, I rendered the fabric sample pattern to fit the chair template. The chair on the left is 3/4" scale, and the one on the right is 1 -1/2" scale.
Abstract Expressionist
Portrait
For extra Photoshop practice, I used clipping masks, color grading, and imported graphics to stylize Manny into an abstract expressionist portrait.

Smoke Effect
For extra Photoshop practice, I used clipping masks, color grading, and smoke brushes to stylize my golden retriever (Manny) with a smoke effect.
Friendship Bracelets
One of my favorite hobbies is bracelet making. The ones pictured are called alpha bracelets because the knots are formed in rows on top of base strings. There are also many ways to start and end bracelets and ways to make them into keychains.
