River City Fellowship Church

     River City Fellowship Church was a project from my Digital Drafting 2 class. We were given the floor plans of a modern church. The goal was to build the floors, walls, and ceilings in SketchUp. Using the SketchUp materials library and 3D warehouse, we selected furniture and finishes. Then, I used Lumion, a rendering software, to produce high-quality rendered images and a fly-through video showcasing the design of each space. Even though the floor plan was modern, I chose a traditional design style with warm wood tones, stained-glass windows, and intricate details. I desired to revisit the beauty of cathedral and early church architecture that inspired reverence for God while still encouraging a personal, approachable relationship with Jesus.
